Ready for LAUNCH Festival!
We hit the press this week as we officially announced our partnership with the worlds biggest start up conference, LAUNCH Festival 2015.
Now in its 8th year, LAUNCH Festival is arguably the best place to launch your start up, raise money, and learn about starting a company. To date, they have a spectacular record for finding and launching start ups in the history of any event including: Yammer (acquired by Microsoft $1.2B), Mint (Intuit, $170M) and Dropbox (last valuation $10B), to name but a few.
We secured the gig back in the summer after a visit to San Francisco where we met the organisers, and demoed Get Invited. This is the largest and most high profile event we’ve hosted to date, and with past speakers including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, and Marissa Mayer from Yahoo, to say we are excited with the news is an understatement!
As a startup ourselves, we are delighted that they had the faith in us and our product, to take on such a large festival. However, with 40,000 emails blasting out to LAUNCH attendees, and thousands of happy ticket purchasers on Get Invited, we’ve proven just how robust and secure our system is.
Not ones afraid to multitask, we took LAUNCH as an opportunity to build some great new features that we are working on as well, such as:
Custom questionnaires: We created a custom questionnaire for the LAUNCH team to use for their attendees. This is a feature we have been able to create for some of our other customers, and we will be rolling it out shortly as an option for everyone.
Shiny, new events page: LAUNCH was also an opportunity to roll out our new look event pages for all our users. We redesigned our pages to allow more focus on your brand, and help you can sell more tickets.
Social Timeline: We launched our new look social timeline, which aggregates all of the social conversations around your event from top social networking sites. We track this information, give you powerful analytics on your activity and present it in a beautiful social timeline that you can use as purchase incentive on your page, or real time display, for your attendees.
This festival is just one of the hundreds of events that we currently have on our system, and we are excited to see our company go from strength to strength, with more and more events coming on board every day.
